The demo video shows the hull being cut up into pieces. Is this not in the game? That's pretty deceptive if that was left out

The trailer is largely misleading as far as the gameplay - take it with a grain of salt. The game itself is mostly just breaking apart certain elements on board ships, and nothing of the hull or even much structural elements at all.

It is to one off the Largest ships, it comes whit the ship that you can do it to.

the ship here is a Large Oil tanker for about 1500/day cost

Hi everyone! In the game, you can trim the sides of the largest ships! I encourage you to try this mechanic :) It is very satisfying! We are also open to any suggestions :)

Hm, that sucks. I was expecting to be able to explore the ships on the beach at my leisure, fully break them down with more and more powerful tools/machinery, and clean up the graveyard over the course of the game. And while maybe out of scope for this game, it would be nice to be able to upgrade the village and create better conditions for the workers. I mean, if I'm making money, I need to spend it on something.

ship breakers tear the whole thing down, and generally work from Bow to stern, as that's how they're beached, not cut the sides off, remove some components and then poof, rest is gone
