But there was no need to get multiple companions before since you only use one in the end. That change made it so we can use one we like instead of one we hate but need (like Vette or Jaesa instead of Quinn).
That's way better, and if they did it from launch they could have kept the "you can kill some companions during the class story" stuff from the beta (so Quinn would die when he betrays you and not 6 years later for example).

This isn't an option, no. Stuff Shae is wearing has a "Require Shae Vizla" on it so even for cosmetic purpose it's a no go. Same goes for all companions since KotFE I think, so they can sell their stuff on the CM instead.

By far the best DPS Companian ingame. A must have!

Because that's her armor in KotFE and her default gear as a companion. You get a box with her SoR armor though.

Incorrect, the best DPS companion is HK-55/47 or one of the various Beast/Droid Companions you can get. They all get unique animations and few people run around with them so you won't run into players sporting the same companion as frequently.

Right the next day my subscripion ends...
