after some time I wanted to play some swtor again. Problem is that I get the error as shown above. So I checked on the official swtor website if I have another steam account linked to my swtor account, but there is non listed to unlik. I even created a fresh account to see if this will fix it, but I will get the same error. Is there a way to fix this, or do I have to play over the swtor launcher?

Well, if your SWTOR account is through Steam, and if you are trying to play on a Steam account OTHER than the one linked to the SWTOR account, then you are not going to be able to do that. For obvious reasons.

I am also having this problem, but SW:ToR customer support said there was nothing they could do. How do I check what accounts are linked?

Are you sure you don't have another SWTOR account? Whatever account is logged into first gets linked with Steam. The only way to switch to another account is to login to the original SWTOR account on swtor.com and unlink Steam, then login to the new account through Steam to link the new account.

my dumbass found out that I have a third account that is linked to my steam account. I don't know how it got linked to this specific account but now I can play again

to check if your swtor acount and your steam account are linked you have to go to the swtor website, login with the account that you are playing with and under the options tab there is a option that says steam unlink. If it shows that you have no steam account linked with this swtor account you must have another swtor account that is linked with your steam account.
