is there any larger discord servers for this game with active vcs its hard to talk or ask questions about this game having to type only in the swtor discord server TIA

There's the reddit swtor discord and server specific ones like star forge (dunno if there's one for satele or other servers) but I don't really see people hanging out in VC very often unless there's something going on.

Your best chance is just to join an active guild. Pretty much every guild has a discord and many of them have people hanging out in VC a lot.
