If you sub once you get all the current DLC. IMOP It is not only worth playing but its worth a sub.
It is an easy game, which makes it fun for both the hard core grinder ( there are hard modes ) and there is easy mode for those who just like to play the story and have great fun with little time.
They have done a good job at making the level and gear system decently fair to obtain. You can either GRIND for end game top tier. Or you can just play and get good enough gear to enjoy the game and story.
Are there raids and stuff?
When it's free, download and play, then form your own opinion. For some reason these posts make me laugh or exhale and shake my head. Got me feeling like a 40 year old when I'm mid 20s, crazy feeling.
Combat is well an MMO tough to get used to if you arent already and adapt to but once your used to this game and the respawn times you can practically predict everything.
Community is.. friendly in game, when the game first came out at least I had people giving me great gear for nothing in return other than friend requesting. You got to join a group now to get any kind of interaction.
I find that the subscription a bit pointless now and all it does is just gate you having more in game currency and doing the raids. I would understand if they were creating further content but all it seems to be its Quality of life changes and cartel market updates for the cash shop.
I would like to to get back into raids but I don't see what i'm funding the game for at the moment as they are are not creating anything in my opinion that keeps a players attention.
The new galaxy events are great! Nice to see multiplayer features in the open world but its more for the new players than the existing players sadly. The mmo focus just seems to have gone and even the story has stopped. Their needs to be a gear score increase and a new zone / reputation system / repeatable endgame options / Delves open world star wars lairs / military bases or caves to find new gear and cosmetics and not just in the store.
Enemy Spawn rate increased is one of the best things they did.
Empire side story is wonderfull.
its an mmo, but star wars. If thats what you want then its perfect
