Those companions also don’t play any role in the main story, they only feature the once during their SF arc, that’s it.
how are they broken? i did it last years ago and they seemed ok, just annoyingly long considering how many u need to do
i ignore some things like the IMP guy Pierce who wants me to prove myself in PVP before he joins, but this things stay and continue flashing annoying me a bit, they should add ignore option to each alert
Broken as in last I checked, you weren’t getting the loot you’re supposed to get, they used to drop tons of decorations, but then suddenly they barely dropped anything at all.
So broken in the sense that it’s just not worth it to play through them anymore.
And as for your story concern, I understand what you mean, but actually the SF missions really have zero bearing on the main missions of KotFE/KotET, the boss fights etc play exactly the same whether you did SFs or didn’t.
Luckily I did all those missions back when they dropped, even got the „The One and Only“ legacy title, for which you had to do the Veteran/Hard mode SF solo without companion and without using any of the buffs.
But as I said, such bragging rights aside, the SF missions don’t give you anything worthwhile… you can safely ignore them.
Which is why I hope that the teaser in the letter from Keith where we supposedly get "thrown into some content you may not have played in a while" for the next Galactic Season is referring to either one of those or both.
i think u still could (baste on what i have seen) but only with expensive gear unless u chose tank Discipline and if u make balanced build, if ur willing to sacrifice bit damage, but it takes dam long to complete vet mode whatever if its top notch gear or clever build with tank Discipline
That was before they changed the power level of all characters and companions, redistributed the stats for level sync with a lower hard cap on endurance and made some talents mutually exclusive in the discipline tree to reduce power creep.
Back then the game was even easier than it is today and you could breeze through pretty much any content like Star Fortresses, vet and even some master flashpoints and the Eternal Championship on Zakuul with no problem whatsoever. This is no longer the case, which makes achievement hunting much more of a challenge.
It will be much more difficult and tiresome to find a group for those activities, yes.
and some of them are bugged, especially towards the end where you have to go around that ring and jump from platform to platform and activate consoles and fight lieutenenats to get to the endboss
