Wallet Funds
Anyone had success subscribing with wallet funds and no credit card on file? And by that I mean any of the recurring options.

I paid for a 30 day recurring sub and canceled after a few days into my subscription. No point in paying for more than that since I haven't any plans to play SWTOR seriously for the time being.

However, if you plan to use your wallet for recurring beyond what you paid for (90-day sub, for example), I'm not sure if it'll automatically deduct from your wallet after the recurring number of days-sub expires... but I do know it'll try to charge your debit/credit/prepaid card info you have on file in Steam first. You might want to contact SWTOR support about this before doing anything--either through the game if you're subbing or through EA or SWTOR's website forum, just in case so you don't lose any money.

Have not tried but I do not think it will work. As a recurring sub needs a payment source to process and your wallet is not considered a stable source. Sure you may have funds in it today but there is nothing to assure there will be funds there when the next payment is due.

It worked, you don't need a credit card on file to pay for recurring subs, it will withdrawl from your wallet. Now I'm not sure if you have a credit card on file if would deduct from your wallet or card first.

I never save my card info, so would assume that if you're going for a recurring without canceling, it might look for your card on file before attempting to take wallet funds.

As I've previously stated, I always cancel the subscription after a few days so it doesn't try to after my subscription ends, so I am unable to give you a concrete answer. Sorry!
