Security Key And Free Cartel Coins 2025
Still thinking of reinstalling the game, after a 2 year plus break when I used the 'old' dedicated authenitcator, but the perceived hassle of sorting out the 'new' authenticator system, and Google has put me off.

However, looking at it again and other options, a quick question please. Does one still get the 100 cartel coins per month for using the authenticator?

Many thanks.

Yes, you still get the 100 cartel coins. I got mine earlier this month.

Thank you :)
I know you didn't ask if you are still using the physical authenticator. I would recommend getting SWTOR tech support on the line to help convert it to the digital one that you can download to your phone.

I am aware it is a pain to get them on the phone, but I found that it was the quickest way to do the switchover.

I had a physical authenticator earlier, but it stopped working so I had to make the switch.

I know you didn't ask, but in case you didn't know it: You don't have to call support anymore, as you can nowadays change the authenticator yourself on the website. Click on account, sign in with username and password, but don't enter a security code. Then you will get the option "Lost your security key?" Follow the procedure.

I changed from my collector's edition's physical auhtenticator to an app authenticator through that link and it was so fast and easy that I can't imagine it will be quicker to call their support.

I did not know that, thank you very much indeed.
If you don't have a phone to use a authenticator app, you can get WinAuth on PC. It's what I use and it works just find.
My original, Collectors edition launch era key FINALLY died in December.
I got SO many points off that.
I did the switch to Google authenticator without a hassle, took me an hour or so to understand how to do it.
