It's one big flop, we all told them of the bugs and glitches and the team at SWTOR instead of delaying the update to fix the bugs pushed it out anyway. I feel like they betrayed everyone's trust and I personally have unsubbed because of this hot mess. I feel like if they had just listened to their player base instead of ignoring us this could have been avoided.

My feedback on the test server forum was that while those dynamic encounters are surely nice to have, they are also nothing that anyone needed or asked for, and the content will quickly be neglected by the majority of the players, because the incentives (=rewards) are not worth it. At least they added some conquest commendations to the missions. Before it was just lousy tech fragments and nothing else.

Don't need the "modernisation".

Don't need the lair boss.

Couldn't care less for the new cartel market items.

Waited for the next story bit. The one which they had announced for 7.6, but then at some point not even mentioned at all anymore.

Overall, I would have preferred to not having to download 33+ GB and keep playing 7.5.

My game won't even launch now

Meh, don't care much about it. At least there's a free mount Twitch drop. I only care about finishing the original class stories, as KotFE and KotET are garbage and no content following those expansions can be done without their influence affecting the game.

I'd much rather the team go back and fix the codex entries that have been broken since launch, and rid us of the invalid and retired achievements and what not from our legacies and collections.

My laptop isn't running substantially hotter, but the graphics seem to have gotten worse while using more resources. IDK man. Kind of a miss for me, outside of the cheap customizing at the cartel bazaar.

playing on steam deck and no issues, looks great. Needs a lot more modernization.

Might want to invest in some glasses then lol

All my chiss are splotchy, and cyborgs are affected too, especially male cyborgs if you use the implants that let you have facial hair. The facial hair ends up stuck on a bright red metallic color. Seriously make a male cyborg and you'll see. XD

Pretty much this. I just did the 3 around the Tant spaceport; the outlaws had a VERY low spawn rate so that one sucks as a shared quest. The data hunt and animal one were just meeehhh, VERY simple low level stuff.

I may go back and do some of the one's you have to travel to, but I'm not holding my breath they'll be any better.

I do like they're trying to add stuff to the planets to give you a reason to go back to them and if you're not already max level the credits and XP will help lower levels.
I haven't played the game seriously since 7.2. and was a bit shell-shocked that Bioware handed it over to another dev. Came back--briefly--when I heard about the Date Night update, only to rage quit when I discovered that the Copero Villa stronghold given in the free Galactic Seasons track had the rest of the rooms and other areas locked behind a subscription barrier. Not to mention that some of the doors available to unlock via credits are not affordable for F2P/Preferred players, so the only choices are not to bother expanding locked stronghold areas or be forced to spend IRL money for a subscription or Escrow.

Not sure what happened to this game, but it just feels like everything has been forced into some kind of paywall now. Also, since when did they turn everything into a credit sink, especially for GTN listings and Quick Travel?? 😕

You get a ton of content as a freebie player. Only thing holds you back is the 1 million credit cap due to server inflation. Lot of these old vets are hoarding BILLIONS and TRILLIONS OF CREDITS so the market is what it is.

That being said it's really easy to make credits. Just do warzones all day. Warzones give you tech fragments which you can covert to [OEM-37] and [RPM-13] and dump them on the market. cha ching! Warzones are the best part of this game altho you'll get wtf pwned some matches but it was no different in world of warcraft getting graveyard camped from the get go in Warsong Gulch, lol.

You're right about the amount of content being available to free players,.. no argument there. However, when all your characters are high level, the credit cap is a problem, especially when it comes to decent gearing and the highest item price you can buy from an NPC vendor is 5 million. And I won't even discuss the prices on the GTN... nevermind, you're having to pay twice now if you're a seller. Sheesh!
