One time password required - THAT NEVER GETS DELIVERED.

Hi,
Sorry for the caps, but I'm losing it with this bloody game, honestly.

Days, yes days, I have been trying to login. My password is fine, but it does not recognised the device I'm logging in from, so it sends me a one time password that NEVER turns up. I must have done it 20 times!!!

Honestly, why is it such a task in this game - why can you not do a phone verification or something, it's obvious you bloody email server is running on a collection of last years potatoes.

All the while, I cannot login and play.

What can I do?

EDIT: So, I go to create another account. Create this fine - activation email is actually sent this time, wow.

I go to login with said account and get "We can't log you in, Please double-check you're using the steam account you usually play and try again". Erm, this is new account - I created it in the login applet. WTF does this have to do with steam, and I don't usually play, this is A NEW account.

My god, what a joke of a game.

The message appears because your initial SWTOR account was automatically linked to your Steam account so before you can use the new account you would have to unlink the old account on the SWTOR website to be able to access the game via Steam with the new account.

If you can't access your old account due to the missing OTP to do the unlink, you still have the option of downloading and playing the game with a new account via the standalone launcher from the website and use a different Email provider.

Once you managed to log in you can download and attach a Security Key on your phone or desktop so that you don't have to use the OTP anymore.

I logged in yesterday and got the one time password right away so .....

Are you checking your spam folder too?
You haven't changed emails since you first created that account have you? (ie the passwords going to your old email while you're looking at your new email.)

You can, just sign up for it. Look under 'security key' for the how to. In addition you get 100 cartel coins a month for being signed up.
