Turning Padawan Jaesa Willsaam? Alignment change?
Planning on "turning" Jaesa Willsaam, instead of killing her... however, I've been a very "good" sith, and my alignment is Light 1... I just arrived on Alderaan... everything I found online (mainly very very old posts) says I have to be Dark 1 in alignment, but I haven't found anything current to help me get there quickly. My current alignment = 3050 light - 1300 dark.

Yes, you have to be Dark Side to turn her to the Dark Side, which should be obvious.

As a Traitor Pseudo-Sith, you cannot do that.

It's not like I'm all goody goody... but yeah.

QUESTION: Which ways, and the fastest way to change alignment?

QUESTION: I have to have at least Dark 1, I assume... am I to assume, that my dark side needs to be higher than my light side (a minimum dark alignment)?

I don't know what Dark Level is required, but I do believe it's more than just Level 1.

As for quickly changing your alignment, there is none.
Alignment is meant to portray and display your decisions over the course of your development through the story.

The only reasonably "fast" option would be the Crew Skill "Diplomacy", which has missions that give Dark Side points... that said, it'll still take a while and cost a good amount of money.

And yes, to gain Dark Side Levels, you will have to offset the Light Side points you already accumulated to go beyond Neutral.

The Jaesa companion line is one of the few you can do twice with different outcomes. The Dark side Jaesa is totally different than the light side.

I think with your current numbers you should just bite the bullet and do the light side story this time and then play on playing a new character through dark so you can see the dark side Jaesa story.

If you're only neutral (I'm not sure if that's a thing in 7.0) then she asks you to choose for her so you wouldn't have to go as far as Dark Side to get her dark. I could be misremembering but if I'm wrong you can always leave the instance and reset the mission if she doesn't embrace the dark side.

Thanks everyone. I added Diplomacy to my crew skills (and I did 2 Heroic missoins), and in one session took my:
3050 light - 1300 dark - TO - 3050 light - 3890 dark (dark alignment 1).

Assuming I don't mess up the options, I think I should make my goals, based on everything I've read.

While running Diplomacy missions, you can run story Black Talon flashpoint and pick dark side choices to get even more points at the same time as doing those crafting missions. You can up to do 5 flashpoints per hour (it's usually hard to hit this limit).

It worked. Doing 2 heroics, and one full online play session of back to back Diplomacy missions, and I easily swung over to the dark side, and had enough to complete the turning. Thx all. I find it very un-immersive to get a Jedi to join a Sith, without turning her to the dark side... it's just... weird.

Yeah, I miss KOTOR 2's system where you could turn your companions to light or dark.

I miss Kotor 1 and 2... I try to play them... but I've played them on EVERY platform, so many times, with every possible decision, multiple times on multiple times... I'm sad, I just can't play them anymore...

Yeah you need to be Dark-sided to turn her to the Dark Side. Surprise. As for getting there quickly...geez I dunno. My advice would be if you havent, do ALL of the planet side missions and side arcs and go full DS. I think I got Jaesa once to turn as a neutral, so you might only need grey in order to turn her.

Dark 1 - Dark Jessa
Light 1 - Light Jessa

Neutral 0'ish - You can choose the alignment of Jessa.

I did one run where my sith didnt turn her to the darkside because my sith, despite being DS, wanted to have a diversity of thought, she also felt the sith needed to open up a bit and be more accepting (think Acina).
