Only these Celeron processors can use them. all Gemini Lake.
Using the details provided: i doubt you could run it on minimum properly, with 6gb of memory shared between windows 11, the various bits of software running in the background and the slow ass uhd 600, there won't be enough ram to run it convincingly on minimum specs anyway.
The minimum specs also doesn't cover how much processing power is needed to run windows 11, the bloatware in the background, keyloggers and any other legal spyware, you'd be lucky to get half of the 2ghz to play with for the game itself. let alone any other background programmes like av software.
i'm not convinced your laptop can run this game.
I played the game on my 3 years old laptop with Nvidia MX 230 2GB and 8 GB RAM and even that laptop overheated, especially when it was warmer outside. Now I play on Nvidia RTX 3050 4GB/ 16GB RAM and that is very smooth, very nice.
But it also all depends on your budget if you are about to buy a laptop. And you can always check the minimum requirements for each game you would like to play.
Well, good thing I changed my mind on what laptop I wanted.
Storage: 256 GB
Ram Memory Installed Size 8 GB
Operating System English, Windows 11 Home
Card Description Integrated
Graphics Coprocessor Intel UHD
CPU Speed 3 GHz
Resolution 1080p
Item Weight 3.3 Pounds
Unfortunately, I have an extremely tight budget, so a laptop specifically designed for gaming is out of the question. So I have to do more research to find what I can in order to make the game work within my budget.
If not then see if you can get a PC instead. For the same price you might get better specs than all the laptops you might find rn in your price sector.
p.s. assuming that is that you have other stuff already like pc mouse, keyboard, display...
Unfortunately, I am stuck to laptop, and laptops with dedicated graphic cards are far outside my price range, so I'm stuck with integrated chips.
laptops tend to be cheaper. obviously this user is looking at a lower end laptop sort of £300-£400 range. i dunno if Nvidia still do dedicated cards like the MX series, that would have been a bit better than the uhd crap and fit right into the range the OP is looking at.
If i were in the OP's position i'd consider an AMD buisness laptop, least you have half decent radeon graphics compared to the uhd crap.
I know. That's why the one I'm looking at now has 8GB RAM.
Thanks. So far, everything looks good, my laptop's Intel UHD 600 graphics card can be clocked slightly higher than the HD ones, so I assume that means I'm good there, and I have 16 GB of HDD and a whole terabyte of storage, so that's good. My only real concern is the CPU processor, which is an Intel Celeron N4020, which I am admittedly concerned about, although I did see a video of someone playing the game with that processor, but the graphics were set to Very Low, which is no longer an option.
