Does cosmetics bought at the cartel shop carry over to other characters in the Legacy?
I want that Mando armour but don't know which in my legacy to give it to, can I just move the suit around other characters I have?

If it's in your inventory and it's unbound (you haven't equipped or modified it yet) you can when the trade timer runs out. If a single piece is permanently bound to your character then your better off adding it to your collections and unlocking it in collections for your legacy with more CC.

Make sure it goes to your collections and then for a low each character price or a slightly higher account price you can unlock it for others.

I did that on an outfit and it's 10cc for each or was 100?cc for the whole account after I bought it.

It's a lot more than 100cc to unlock mandalorian armor sets acct wide in collections, last time I checked, sucks you can't just unlock the helmet you need the whole set bound

The Collection unlock costs are fixed according to their prescribed quality:

Bronze - 60 CC
Silver - 240 CC
Gold/Platinum - 400 CC

The only real exception to that rule are the weapon tunings that go for 600 CC.

Since that new Mando armor falls under the Gold/Platinum category, it'll cost you 400 CC to unlock it for all chars on your account.

Be advised that there usually are two 50% off Collection unlock sales each year and the next one shouldn't be far away. They usually occur as part of the May the Fourth Star Wars Celebration week and around Black Friday.

So the process is this
If you haven't worn or modified the outfit you can store/trade it to your other character
If it's now bound you can have the outfit added to your collections whereas you repurchase them at a lowered price

Let me know if I missed anything

Not quite.

In order to add an armor set to your Collections, you have to equip every single piece to unlock it. A confirmation message will appear in your chat log that the armor set has been added to your Collections. You can also check by opening your Collections and browsing for the armor set. If it is unlocked, the character that equipped it can claim infinite duplicates of the set.

In order to unlock it for all characters on your account, you have to click the Cartel Market icon on the set in your Collections on another character and pay the required Cartel Coins. In this case it will be 400 Cartel Coins and afterwards every character will have the claim button for that set available in Collections.

Therefore unlocking high quality Cartel items for your entire account is quite expensive and it is really worth it to collect your desired items and wait for one of the two 50% unlock sales each year to really save on the steep CC costs.

So I have to choose one char and later pay again for another character?

You can pay again later for your entire account.
