As for Summit... No idea what he wants. Best guess is he wanted to do end game content and PvP at the highest level, but he was too impatient to do either. So, he quit because he wasn't satisfied with his PvP results (rage quit), and was in too much of a rush to do PvP and thus skipped out on doing raiding and gearing up properly. And then he made the odd decision to play FFXIV. A slower paced game that's even more grind heavy and PVE oriented.
