HELP! My screen is stretched out
I took a break for SWTOR for a while and decided to get back into it. When I launch it the resolution was jacked up and it would make my screen detect no signal. I think I fixed this issue but now when I launch the game my screen is extremely stretched out.

Check out the Fixing Resolution Issues section in my old guide. The fix is still relevant, despite SWTOR now being on Steam.

You have a modern monitor which have above 60Hz refresh rate. Launch your computer in safe mode and set the monitor to 60Hz in advanced graphics settings. Then exit safe mode and play the game.

You should be doing some research before buying expensive monitors, most of the games nowadays since late 90s, supports and loves the 60Hz, not 75hz or 144hz.

If everything else fails, just delete the ini file in SWTOR folder.

I fixed it but this was so long ago lol I’m not sure what I did
If the guide I posted doesn't offer a solution, try pressing ALT+Enter to switch between windowed mode and full screen. Since I'm not experiencing that issue, I cannot guarantee it'll work though.
