What Should i buy with the Cartel Coins?

so, i'm a F2P player and i don't want to spend real money on this game, for now. I am relatively new to the game. i have around 1080 CC, what should i buy with them? is it worth it buying the rocket boost?, i also want new species like the Togruta, Twi'lek or the Miraluka. i know you can buy some species for 1.5M credits, but i have the 1M credits cap, should i buy the escrow transfer? i already have the security key for the extra CC.
i don't know what to do, give me your opinions.

If you have alts or are going to have alts, opening up your collections window, choose 'show unlocks' from the upper right hand drop down (sorting it down from 'show all') and maybe spend some CC on useful account wide unlocks of the stuff your main unlocked.

I used my CC to unlock stuff that subscribers have so I can be close to sub unlocks but still be preferred. Anyone playing this as a f2p and not preferred should definitely think about at least subbing once. Preferred is a far better f2p option with more toon slots and cred cap.

Things I've unlocked with CC are:
- Crew skill slot (Can get by with the default 2 if you play a lot of alts like myself but I had extra CC so unlocked it for less hassle)
- Artifact equipment (So I can get all those vehicles out of my inventory/mail and use purple items I find/have)
- Additional Quickbar (Not sure if that was something they gave players back CC a while ago cause they gave everyone more bars or not)
- Additional Cargo Bay (I have a lot of alts so need storage for gear)
- Unify colors (Most of the time I hate mismatch gear so had to get this for my own sanity)
- Display titles (I theme my toons so needed this for that reason)
- Display Legacy name (I don't use mine much now-a-days but I use to so unlocked it back then)
- Crew member appearance (So I can use the customizations I get from quests/events)

And with the extra CC I've bought hairs styles and character slots around the anniversary which I think is when it goes on sale. I always use CC when stuff is on sale. More bang for your buck.

I won't use CC on gear, pets, mounts or flair since I personally think they are all over priced. Plus, I could always just buy it on the market if I really want it though most of that stuff is over the preferred cred limit I have.

Most of the unlocks depends upon the player but most, if not all, of the unlocks are not needed imo. They are more of a convenience then anything. Just figure out what would make your gaming experience more convenient and get that.

To each their own.

EDIT: Sub for a month, make a toon of the desired race you want, level to 50 (?) and it unlocks for whole server even when your sub is up and you become a preferred player. Or do what I did and make one of each race, level it to 50 and now you have all the races unlocked for the future. :)

I believe Unify colors is included for all for free now, but hide helmet still needs a sub or unlock, artifact authorization acct wide was so worth it for me I have 6 slicers and I wouldn't be able to do the grade 11 missions on my guys without it, I can get 20 legendary embers per day as preferred without even hardly trying the drop rate of them from those missions is for sure 80%+ and some give 3-4 or even 5 per mission so that was definitely my best unlock from a few years back.

If you do not plan to buy a subscription in the future. I would suggest buying the unlocks that allow you to have features missing from sub. Aside from that I usually use my cartel coins for unlocking gear sets for account, as well as some for things like a character transfer if you ever want your legacy on another server.

I do not have this option. I just have
Show All Items
Show Collected
Show Uncollected

I only ask because Id love to know what is a Legacy Wide Unlock, and what is a "This Character Only" Unlock

Where did you get the 1080 coins? Did you buy them? It's much better deal to subscribe one month, farm heroics for credits, and buy legacy wide unlocks like Rocket Boost. I can't recommend paying cartel coins for that one. Much better value to subscribe and buy it with credits.

For Cartel Market, everything costs so much 1080 doesn't go far. Species and Character Slots are pretty good. Those are 600 each. Species can be used for multiple characters with one unlock. Character Slots let you have more slots to try other classes/combat roles. It gives you an extra slot on every server, so one character unlock can be 5 slots if you spread your alts to multiple servers. Only good if you only care about story. Otherwise, it's best to have all alts on one server to take advantage of legacy bonuses.

That's the Collections window. If you unlock an item there, it is actually account wide. You can use it on all characters and all servers. Same for account wide unlocks on Cartel Market. They are a good deal if you play on multiple servers and have lots of alts.

Probably 100 complementary CC each month for using a Security Key and 20 CC each for some of the completed Legacy achievements.

Item expansions across all characters does wonders. Other then that I would look at some of the weapons.
