Insanely long download?

Am I the only person that's having less than 10 MB/sec download speed, and has been downloading the game for almost 3 hours? Because this isn't making me feel any more excited to play the game at this point

There is like 20+k people trying to download an 80gb game, have some consideration... Jesus.

I think they didn't expect so many ppl to be interested in the game. Servers must be crying, leading to slow download of 80gb game.

Jeez man, you make a post about how bad the seeding for a game is and people start freaking out harassing you, chill out people. But yeah mines HARD capped at like 15.2 MB/s when my download speed is normally around 100 MB/s

That download speed was really making me wonder what was going on with it, because my download speed is not like 6 or 7 MB/sec.

Dunno what is up but this launcher gets like 200 kbs for me. Yet other launchers I get my 12mb

The download speeds are terrible. I redownloaded the game a week ago and it took a while. Now with so many people downloading it is probably 100x worse.

They should have just have hosted the files on steam servers and do a check for their launcher instead of this. This is going to take longer...like all day compared to say RDR2 at release day or even DS at release day.

think I'm at the last 1.3gb of the game to download and it dropped from like 10mbs to 105kbs. How long will it take to download 1gb with that speed?

1. Go to command prompt

2. Type in:

ipconfig /flushdns

That should speed it up a little bit.

Nope, still capped at 1mb/s (my internet max speed is 40mb/s)
15h in and still downloading....
