PS. And you can easy 1v1 almost everyone even naked or in white startin gear from Hutta-Korriban becasue bolster (only augments count with very minor boost). Problem is in the gasket between the monitor and the chair
AFAIK the max gear score is 336 in PvP, any gear piece above it would be scaled down to 336. since all augments are below the item rating of 336, they will keep their orginal attribute points
I know you are lying. Its ironic all the vomit you spit just to call yourself a liar in the end.
This does not help any new player hitting 80 who is interested in PvP. As 320 (324? for $ users who boost) is still far below the 336. Now it is an improvement and the 4 cap for premade is actually huge, its still a problem for Solo Que (which is not unique to this game, all PvP games have this same problem.)
When I hit 340 PvP got much better and I had a MUCH MUCH better time. So really all that needs to be done is to Scale 340 down to like 320, or scale everyone up to 340. PvP should never be about who is better at PvE it should always be about who is better at their Class Rotation and micro/macro abilities.
it's all about augments in your gear. it will literally triple your stats over the casuals who doesn't grind crafting to upgrade augment bonus in their gear slots. The crafting UI in this game is real bad for one.
the moment they split the comunity with sub or free to play is where all grp content except low lvl flashpoints died
and it stays this way until they remove all restrictions from free to play players including access to new expansions and max character and item lvl gear, operations, all the fn unlocks you need to be subed for
btw the new devs seem to be going in the wrong direction, they already shadow patched that you get less credits for items sold to vendors and less xp for missions (not necesarry the worst since you overlevel anyway) into the game
but it shows you the direction, sneakiely patch the game down till you need a sub or buy stuff from the store for money to be able play it at all, which is gona be the games DEATH (comunity is to small and doesn't grow that way)
I have played all the MMOs that are out. (I still play a couple, and quit others)
I am glad you do not feel that, however the more MMOs you play, the more this will become noticeable. I think this will have no impact on you now, but will later. The only reason this is noticeable to veteran players is because of how small SWTOR Community actually is.
Once you test PvP in all areas, you would assume you got better, but you didn't, your gear got better. You will still lose to the sweats that were beating you before, just slower. The gap between 320 and 340 is crazy, it feels like the gap between lvl 1 and 70 to me, mathematically its more like the gap between 1 and 40.
This doesn't even cover the Premade Vs Non Premade issue. Which they are kinda fixing soon.
Anyway, when they took out the pvp stat, in my opinion made pvp available to everyone and it also took away the advantage the veteran pvp'ers had and therefore they couldn't get a 100% win and therefore quit.
Kinda sad really.
I mean i found pvp boring and predictable because of the pvp stat, once they get removed, the pvp is more....better, but i prefer co-op, competitive gameplay is not fun for me.
What....ahhh get him off me....mommy!....oh the humanity!....what the hell was that?, who brings a bazooka!...for the love of.....
No...no memories there. HA
Darkside had some nice advantages for sure, but look, I think PVP was all coordinated because you really didn't have two players on the same level. What I mean by that is you can have two say sentinels and they were not equal in gear or skill, so it was a grind for that gear. Plus if you played the game for a long time. They kind of lost their flavor.
The 4 vs 4 could also get toxic with players who had no patience to teach either.
First, even after all this time. Its a very good game whose hard worked showed at times, but also had some bad implementations. I mean they failed at space battles twice.
Its strength was truly the first time flash pve story line content. People forget how much detail was to starting, and like all mmos they streamline things and sometimes you lose something.
Maybe one day, Lucas Arts will make another MMO learning from what they did wrong, which was a lot, and what they did right.
I am sure many of you would have great PVP ideas.
The account was for our son, who enjoyed the game for several years with his friends.
However, I do remember some great PVP clashes. When you had two very good teams, it led to some classic encounters.
Be well gang.
yah it's like World of Warcraft. Remember when you joined a warsong gulch match, your pug mass wipes at mid and get graveyard camped the whole game? lol
Early days of WOW vanilla servers, warsong gulch matches were Horde vs Alliance on your server only. On my server Horde destroyed Alliance.
