what's the best way to make credits?

Yes I know, selfish question but I really don't know how to make credits. Everything on the GTN cost millions and I played through all the story content and tops I made was 4mil. So Any ideas?

Farm Heroics with max level characters. Instead of slogging through them all with one character, only do the earlier or faster ones with several of your characters to maximize profit in a shorter amount of time.

Add a Security Key to your account to get 100 Cartel Coins each month. That doesn't sound like much, but it will enable you to buy high value stuff from the Cartel Market (dyes, renames) every couple of months to sell for several millions on the GTN. Always check the daily Flash Sale for discounted items.

Gathering resources and selling them directly, or crafting simple stuff like cell grafts, assembly components, etc. You can put some gathering nodes in your stronghold for some additional free resources. You will have to check GTN regularly, because the most important part here is what resources to gather / what components to craft at any given time. The prices go up and down depending on the supply and demand. Some higher tier resource could be selling for 100 credits, while a lower tier one for 10K. So, check GTN to see what's in demand today, gather/craft, sell, repeat.

Running heroics at max level and farming master flashpoints for tech fragments can bring a decent amount of credits too. Not as profitable and requires more work, but you might find it to be more fun.

That is not true Slicing makes me 30 mil everyday!

Gathering and selling materials or doing heroics/group content is the easiest.

If you're really serious, buying and selling cartel market items and crafting is the best way but requires a lot (and I mean a lot) of luck and time/credit investment.

Got 4 slicers and one of each crafting skill maxed on my ohter toons.
Go on lockbox missions from slicing, get the special grade 11 missions, then send the crew out from the special missions, gather up your embers, make augments, $$$. On a good day ill end up with 40+ legendary embers. That's roughly 56 million after selling the augments.

Best long term investment I've made in game. I cut out the middle men and make my augs for my self at 50%-70% less than buying em and sell the extras.

Material selling is part of GTN game and a bit volatile depend on supply and demand. Best to sell stims or aug and not raw material.

Best way to get some millions fast is to do sm ops ( or VM/mm whatever ) and sell decorations .

Some of them cost around 3 millions => 40 Millions

Do conquest on as many characters as possible
Sell the mats you get from conquest on the market (they still sell well on any server)
Do heroics and daily areas
Take slicing as a crew skill on at least 1 character
Go for gathering runs and then sell the mats you get on the market (gathering runs still are a good way to get credits)
Spend the scraps on materials that sell (must check the market for that one but zal alloy, durasteel, anodyde extract and others sell well if you trade scraps for them at the cartel bazaar jawa vendors)

Buy them. You can spend as little as $10 for one billion credits. Bioware doesn't care about this game's economy, no reason anyone else should.

Actually you can get banned for buying credits, if that is what you were referring to

Have u been banned doing that lol, that feels kinnda scummy but the economy is messed up in my opinion
