mouse sensitivity problem

there is a particularly annoying (bug/glitch/problem) where every now and then while im looking around via, right click and drag, that the mouse sensitivity spikes up and then goes back down. it is annoying enough to where I don't want to play, as it has only been an big inconvenience in the game play. has anyone else experienced this or is it just me? or perhaps does anyone know how to fix this issue?

edit after noticing, I have tried to see if changing my mouse sensitivity down, but that changes nothing.

It's a longstanding bug in the game, been there since the beginning. They've never fixed it and probably never will. What happens is internally, it moves the mouse to the center of the screen. It interprets it as a drag from the previous mouse cursor position instantly to the center, causing that big jump.

is there a way you know to fix it from our side?

this is one of those really annoying minor issues that is just here to stay forever...

The only way that was ever found to fix it, or rather alleviate the issue was to reduce the mouse polling/report rate to around 125. But even with that it will still happen once in a while.

It's such a pain in the ass, and that they still haven't been able to fix it is ... I don't know, unbelievable.

Yeah the only fix I ever found was to lower my mouse's polling rate. It's been a feature since I started the game.
