What is the best way to farm or get credits in this game? I am still leveling mind you I am 73 atm however I was looking at the AH and everything players put up is so inflated it feels like I am trying to buy stuff in real life lol and long story short trying to farm something small to some people say for example 8 mil credits would take me what feels like a life time where as the hardcore players have probably 100 billion lol and unlike wow I dont think this game has a black market website where I can buy credits with real money like how wow does unless I am wrong? anyways tips on how to get some credits at a higher rate would be awesome I am sure it will be easier when I hit max level just trying to get ideas now as ill be max level soon thanks in advance!

Cartel Market the in game store that sells appearance items, Some of those sell for a huge amount of credits.

cartel market. this way to earn credits is rather difficult as it requires you to pay a lot of attention to what the prices are and when something is much cheaper in order to earn a lot of money through it.

What that person says is to buy armour or weapons that are on sale in the cartel market (for CC - cartel coins which you can get a few hundred a month through subscription and having a security key. Cartel coins can be bought with real money). You can buy credits on several sites, I don't know them by name since I don't use them. If you play the expansions and veteran fps then you're gonna be racking up the millions before you know it. You get quite a lot of money just by playing and killing. As you hit max level the credits are calculated on your level so you will earn a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when max level and doing vet FPs. There are a lot more information on swtorista.com and on reddit so I suggest that you look through that.

The market is totally over inflated as far as the prices go, but the good news is there's NOTHING being sold on the market that you NEED to play the game.

CM credits selling means you know what you are doing, which I don't.

Selling crafting materials seems to be popular right now, so that would probably be the easiest and quickest way to earn credits without resorting to CM trading. You can see the "most popular" listings from the middle icon above "Name" in the GTN terminal.

I would suggest sending companions gathering while spamming Heroics.

So I'm guessing you are a current subscriber as you wouldn't be able to have more than 1 million credits on your character at a time as free to play, I would have all 3 of your crew skills be gathering skills, bioanalysis you can also gather from the corpses of strong beast enemies, the ones with the silver around the vitals, scavenging you can also gather from strong droid corpses, and can gather from nodes on both as well, and you could either go slicing or archaeology for the 3rd one, just sell the mats you gather on the GTN, run heroics is another way, and as others have said buy stuff from the cartel market and sell it for credits, I think it takes 30-36 hours to unbind before you can list it

Level up a craft/gathering to 700 and sell the crafted mats or the gathered mats (crafted mats go for way more.)

Run heroics.

Use jawa scraps (earned from completing conquests/heroics/deconstructing items) and buy materials from the jawa scrap vendor. Particularly the ones used to make augments which are tier 3 exotics (isotopes and resource matrix's go for a lot.)

When you get to endgame. Buy some rpms with tech frags (4000 tech frags each) from the spoils of war vendor in supply section on fleet. They sell around 20 mil (on dark malgus) gtn.

It is a great way to make money once you get all your gear sorted.
