I wouldn't say "uptight" but yeah i am a little annoyed, is it that weird that i don't like some rude fool being sexist for no reason? i honestly don't get why this thread is even allowed to exist? when these sort of remarks are frowned upon in most of the world (probably even the most in the country of Valve's origin)?
Its not even remotely surprising that somebody with such tunnel vision cant comprehend that not everyone shares in their opinion, so let me just remind you that other opinions exist.

I get that you guys must struggle with basic understanding of the world around you, but there is a very big difference between something "woke" and some cutscenes having interchangeable characters... however you try spin your reasoning the bottom line is that you are both sexists & that's pretty damn pathetic in this day and age, you should be ashamed.
Grow up, you're crying as if the game forces you to have sex with the same gender or something, meanwhile there are maybe 5 voice lines in 100's of hours of campaign that can steer you towards a cutscene with a kiss between your character and some npc, thats it....

tho in swtor the story while leveling is the game because everything else is torn appart, split comunity because sub no sub, sub getting to raid pvp no sub just don't, and plenty of people just sitting on previous expansions, not getting the new epansions for various reasons
pve player casuals kill these games, by crying it's to hard i'm not getting everything thrown at me ez mode (i partially aggree with that because pve doesn't matter, it's only there to forward a story, timegating and ♥♥♥♥ like that sucks and is unnecessaryly annoying), then they stop playing never come back and the devs make changes which make it easier "TO LATE" (i like that, if the changes are to remove rng and timegating, not necessary making the gameplay easier)
if you want a chalenge in a game you gotta play pvp (also only works well if it's balanced)
Legacy of the Sith isn't woke, but simplified, it has mostly been just Mando civil war between two groups one led by Shae Vizla, who slowly goes insane, and other led by Heta Kol, who's already more or less insane with Sith Macguffin artifact thrown in.
Best part of this game is warzones and the stories are good too.
Am playing GW2 and that games living story of whatever they called are so bad. Their realm vs realm pvp is trash too
C3PO, Chewbakka, Darth Vader, R2D2, Jawas, most of the characters on display in Mos Eisley, none of these are inclusive characters.

For fantasy franchises, inclusion should instead come from a decision of the viewer to step into the fantasy world and enjoy it. When this process is inverted by clamoring for self-clones what could have been in that place is lost.
Fourty years ago Star Trek and Star Wars were deeply different in characters and writing.
Now? Not so much, swap the art styles and they could almost be the same thing.
With franchise heads putting a high prioritization on inclusivity each fantasy franchise became less unique.
Entertainment becomes less diverse.
When people are "tired" of woke, they are tired of a dictatorial uniformity.
Lots of feminism. Virtually every key character in the KotFE expansion and later on are all female driven. New Emperor is a chick, only dark council member to survive. Newest expansion is centered around a woman (Padawan) who can somehow best the Emperor's Wrath (makes no sense unless you're pro-female empowerment), minorities like Koth take center stage and get away with the most insane ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ feats while your MC just stands around like a tool.
Main villain isn't Valkorion but rather his prodigy daughter who's stronger than both her brothers and her father and mother. Patriarch is made into the absolute worst "bad dad" type villain who just tyrannizes his family...it's boring. All of the movers and shakers of the post Knights story line are all boss ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. There's no character depth at all to any of them either.
As someone else said as well, characters were made to be able to be romanced no matter what sex you are.
Honestly, the worst part is the strip all the agency from your character to have him play errand boy for all the women. Men basically take a back seat while women run around doing feminist empowerment crap.
Malgus is all but made a ♥♥♥♥♥ by the new council. He gets off leash for like 5 seconds only to be locked up and then released by Shae Vizla who some crazyhow got to be Mandalore with no real explanation as to why. Main bad guy in new content? Female. Boss ♥♥♥♥♥ with the haircut to match.
Original story content is where it's at. New stuff isn't even that good for lore and the releases are soooooo sloooooooow. I just ran through the new content in less than 2 hours.
A big joke for the content once you finish your character story, are the planetary quests leading up to Malgus for one of the raids. His goal is to diversify the Empire and gives this huge speech about how the Empire being only human is being short sighted and when you go to the raid he gives all of these speeches about the various races and their benefits they bring to the Empire, he even gives speeches about the Emperor being absent and that they need one who is present and not just some disembodied spirit...so he goes through ALL of that crap, you beat him, leave him for dead, and then what happens? The Empire diversifies anyways, appoints an "Empress" to lead them and basically does the exact same ♥♥♥♥ that Malgus was doing and he gets labeled a "traitor." It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb.
Everything post character 1-50 story line is woke as hell. Feminism, DEI, slavery getting talked down a bunch even in the Empire, it's really sad.
i really dislike people that simply repeat propaganda without even trying to look things up for themself. and the less said about the second part of your initial post the better.
theres is no "teaching that lgb is bad", there are laws that prohibit said ideology to target minors. unlike here in the west.
and as a german, i support this. nobody cares if one is gay, lesbian, whatever. all people. but dont come to my child and tell him that its good or beneficial. thats for noone outside our family to decide. i do want my children to have a family with their own kids at some point.

that beeing said, the origin stories are superior to the new stuff. for me personally, its not even about any "woke" stuff. or about the fact that every new major char suffers from "anime main protagonist" syndrome (you know, the overstylized types in a sea of bland). its more that the writing and delivery of it is simply mid. just mid. as mid as it gets. mid.
