How do I make the giant side bar go away?

The thing that has PvP season and login rewards and stuff. It is taking up a lot of screen space.

There is an icon top left corner of screen. I think it's a glowy exclamation mark thingy. Press it and it shrinks. You'll have to do that once a day though after reset if I'm not mistaken but it stays off for the whole day once pressed.

But I think you'll have to do it for each character you play that day so if you are playing your Sith Warrior and had clicked it off than when you hop onto another character you'll have to click it off for them also.
