Achievements and legacy unlocks don't carry over to the new server without transfer, but collections (armor, weapons, pets, mounts, etc...) do.
I hopped over there during the double xp event I grinded out 25 legacy levels, a 75 Imp Op and a 60's Sin in that time, it's real low population so far

Hi folks!
I’m back to give you more details on the character transfers to the Shae Vizla server. For this post, my aim is to confirm additional details and answer some questions we have seen floating around.
Starting with the transfer requirements to Shae Vizla:
Characters will be required to have 2 million or less credits.
If you try to transfer a character that has more than that amount, you will see an error message.
The character level minimum is 20.
For the first 30 days after transfers open, there will be 16 free transfers available to Subscribers who meet the following criteria:
Are a current Subscriber
Have been a Subscriber since APAC launch (November 17, 2023) for at least 90 consecutive days.
For the first 90 days after transfers open, all Subscribers will receive a 50% discount (500 CC off) on transfers to the Shae Vizla server.
This discount will be applied for Subscribers who use up their free transfers.
We also wanted to clarify additional info for transfers outside what is detailed above:
Paid transfers will become available when we open transfers to Shae Vizla.
These will still cost 1000CC per transfer for non-subscribers. This will be the default price after the promotion period ends.
The credit and character level requirements detailed above will still apply to these transfers and all future transfers.
Requirements may be adjusted in the future.
We also wanted to confirm that character transfers will open with Game Update 7.4.1’s launch. All of the changes above need to be tied to an update hence why the transfers are specifically connected to 7.4.1. We will be sharing more details of 7.4.1’s release date on the livestream (I’ll be popping in myself!), so players know what to expect and roughly when.
Thanks all!
-Keith
Well if they offer a free transfer of all my character's and legacy.... I *may* decide to resub.
Definitely I won't be buying into this "you must be subscribed since Apac launch and for 90 consecutive days" rubbish... money grubbing at it's worst.
Anyway thanks for the info, folks.
Still a preferred subscriber with 3500 CCs... I'll tinker around for free with my lowbie tank and see if EA rethink their greed. I suppose I'll have to unlock artifact use for purple dtops to not be gimped in the meantime.
P.S. did they ever fix the bug where flashpoints and ops weren't giving rewards?

Hi folks,
We saw a lot of feedback come in from the weekend specifically around credits and the 90 consecutive day Subscriber limit since APAC launch for free transfers. We had some additional conversations based on what we’ve seen on the forums and other platforms, and will be making the following adjustments.
The credit limit will now be 15 million per character.
To qualify for the 16 free transfers to Shae Vizla, players must be a current Subscriber and have been an active Subscriber since January 2, 2024.
Appreciate all of your comments. We’ll continue to keep an eye on feedback that comes in.
Thanks!
-Keith
Keith, this is what you need to do:
1. Offer a FREE server-to-server transfer (ALL characters) to the Australia server - this is a database transfer that should be fully automated via the character transfer page.
2. Drop the time constraints - people play games when they want, not when you want sub fees.
Then maybe.... just maybe.... old players may return to start subbing again.
There are hundreds of modern, compelling, addictive games out there (I have 5 unplayed games in my library for months)... you are going to end up with an empty server that will close down due to cost outweighing income if you don't change your ways.
To the players... I may see you on the AU server one day if Keith sorts out this mess.
You could have levelled all those chars again in the time the server has been up.
Anyway, I'm interested in grinding out 8 storylines I've already done, not to mention all the account and character unlocks and cosmetics I've gotten.
All my chars are level 65... I want to experience new content with them. And if I decide to roll a new character, all those professions I grinded are supposed to be useful so I can make my own mods, crystals, clothing etc.
Over to you Keith... and may the Force not leave you with an empty server.
I don't mean to hijack this thread but it seemed a place to ask...
I am in the same boat as the OP pretty much, just returning after a break and deciding if the APAC server is worth it.
Is the ping that much better on the APAC server for Aussie players?
No "Move all your characters and stuff over" option on the horizon for returning players?
I think I may stay on my US server but how is the community and ping on the APAC one?
Regards,
- Evan
If you are in eastern Australia, the ping will drop from 250ms to around 20ms. And the chances of packet loss outside of your local ISP is almost none. This makes hard and nightmare mode ops significantly better as latency + packet loss = death. i.e. the dreaded lag out, or mobs/players sliding around the place weirdly and not being able to hit them... will rarely happen. MUCH better. Plus I swear I've not received HM/ops rewards because of bad connection (which is why I quit SWTOR several years ago).
As for community... right now there's 14 people on Coruscant and 7 people at fleet. And no spam. Which is really quiet.
As for moving... Keith's current position is you pay for every character.. that's ~AU$12 per character... and if you don't sub that's extra ~AU$15 to unlock artifact auth on each char to wear gear so you won't be gimped (really this should be base game.. no rested XP sucks enough already) plus AU$10 to unlock active chars over 12.
To play this game in Australia as "preferred", I'd have to fork out ~AU$520 . Plus there are currency caps (1m), mission restrictons,
Microtransaction hell... ah... I think I've made my decision. GG.
As for the new server Evan it's quiet, we'll see how many people actually transfer over and how the drama and economy are after it's all said and done, but for now it's quite decent but very low population, now where I get 30-40 ping on SF I get 200-300 on the new server, I live on canada east coast, but I don't pvp or do ops and stuff for everyday stuff even the 200 isn't bad I find
