Are you on wifi? I used to have it on my laptop until I plugged a cable in. On my PC I very rarely have DC's, as in once a week or month or so.
On Satale Shen my connection is stable enough that I can play for many hours, even when I sit on the opposite side of the world. Disconnect is a very rare event that happen once every hundred hours or two.
I used to have regular lag spike and disconnect, though. It affected everything so I tracked it to the router, and then to an incompatibility between it and the cable modem. I switched off UPnP and the hiccups are gone. Wifi is similar, except there are more parts, and interferences are out of your control.
I mean, crazy right? SWTOR is the ONLY game or app on your PC that does this???
Yeah, yeah, and its on our end...
If you have such a strong feeling despite them... perhaps may be you have some other experience, insight, or solutions that you can share too?
