Security key issue.
Well when i returned i tried to login and the security key was an issue as i no longer had it or access to it after 2-3 years. I had to remove the thing as it could not access it.. When i tried to add it to my phone its told me my newer phone was too new..

Now i can no longer access the security npc at all. Is there no way these days to add the security app?

You can use Google Authenticator instead of SWTOR security key

I had an old key fob that I switched over to the phone app a little while ago because the fob battery finally died, so there shouldn't be an issue.

Can I use the game sec key for one account, and the Google one for another account on the same phone?

I used to have my secondary account using the game sec key on my old phone, but recently had to remove it because it finally crapped out. I wasn't able to use the game app for more than one account when I initially set it up, but this sounds like a workaround to protect two accounts on the same phone.

Yes you can. I use the swtor key app for my main account and use the google authenticator for my alt account. Both apps are on the same phone.

You can put multiple accounts into Google, I would recommend using that instead of a mix of apps.
There are other alternatives as well, Authy for example also has a Windows App.

Yeah I thought everyone was using google authenticator. I put EVERYTHING on there. I've got so many 2 factor keys, it's amazing

btw, you need to have been using a gmail account. Otherwise you can't use google authenticator. Which means, if that is the case then your account is lost forever. And you will be unable to contact the folks running SWTOR.

This is hilarious. I got a new phone, and it's not compatible with the SWTOR security key app. I can't log in to my account because of this, and, apparently, they've removed the "lost security key" option.

I've dl'd G. Auth, but it's asking for a QR Code or Setup Key - neither of which I can get due to my previous phone not being available to me.

To add insult to injury, using the Security key link above (https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.swtor.com%2Finfo%2Fsecurity-key), even to set a new one up, I have to have ...

*drum roll*

A security key to log in to set up a security key.
