Will this Game ever really be Canon?
I'm new to this game but apparently this series is meant to be canon if the KOTOR remake comes out but is that really possible? I just want to enjoy something Star Wars that is outside the canon.

It's definitely canonical. All Legends is canonical. "Canon" isn't canonical.

That KotOR remake is dead. Regardless, canon has lost all meaning since Disney took over anyway.

According to Disney? Nope, they will never add it to the canon. Ever.

Personally, I don't care about Disney, so whether or not they add SWTOR to the canon makes no difference to me. I just enjoy the game.

So you mean it's something that's actually happened in the Star Wars timeline before Disney took over?

Basically , Disney are just a political mess that's gradually destroying themselves because of a few individuals completely detached from all reality.

The reception the Swtor trailers have received is like 99% positive but in Disneyland they just cant grasp the concept of it being popular i mean who wants to see Armies of Sith and Jedi fight epic battles?.

What is the difference between canonical and canon?

People care about what's canon or not?

Who honestly cares? Calling something "Canon" or "Non canon" is just a way for corporate out of touch execs to flex and ♥♥♥♥ measure about whose content is more valid when they disagree with someone or something.

Canon doesn't matter, all that matters is if the content is good and modern star wars is a dumpster fire.

So who cares, none of it matters. Just pick a story, turn your brain off, get immersed and enjoy. None of it matters, none of it is serious the majority of it is all terrible.

You can't really stop people doing or thinking about what they like. Everything we do in life online or in person doesn't really matter. All we really actually need is shelter, food and clothing. That's it, but people buy random useless junk like dolls, collectors, etc or pay for virtual entertainment such as games.. why? Because they can.

He can ask questions regardless, and if it doesn't matter to you.. why on earth are you even replying to a post that is entirely irrelevant to you just to force your way of thinking to another? :Rivals:

Some of us expect a bit of respect for the IP's we grew up with and Disney shat all over this one. keep your lazy "i'll take what I can get" attitude out of a thread asking the actual fans how they feel about something.

yes and no. YOU see they used the old KOTOR games as a basis for this games lore. to the OLD Knights of the old Republic, this game is cannon, to the canned remake? I doubt it would have been.

So it's not in the actual Star Wars timeline of things that happened?

It's based on the older KOTOR RPG lore which was purposely set a long, long time before any of the existing Star Wars official stuff so they could make their own story without being tied to official canon.
