I'll tell you what I do I take gen chat, trade chat and pvp chat and I make two other chat tabs, I disable all 3 of those on the main tab, I put gen chat to the 2nd tab, put it to like font size 10, and I put trade and pvp to the 3rd one
So if I want to look at gen chat I just click the 2nd tab, it's nice and peaceful
Subbing for only 1 month will permanently get you level 80 cap and all current content forever so I would do it, fyi do it through the swtor site as Steam has many issues not putting the sub through
There's veteran mode, master mode flashpoints. Can be done as f2p but Operations(raids) that you need to sub to do, all the flashpoints have a solo story mode and you get Jesus droid with you as well that's super OP
So I would say you can solo pretty much most of the game, imo this game is played better with a single player mindset
I'd give it a shot, you can level 8 class stories up to like lv 60 or 65 for free, all you have to lose is some bandwidth and free time, maybe your marriage as well
I will try it out then, thanks!
but yes, you can solo 99% of the game :)
1. Flashpoints (the non-story ones are generally optional anyway and offer nothing to the story, so can be mostly skipped.)
2. CR-19whatever expansion (Orricon I think?), when Bioware had a brain fart and thought it would be smart to have the solo-story end with consecutive raids. Even the optional side quests end in group content.
3. Any optional operations (you'll never see the Dread Masters storyline, which you might stumble upon in your class quests if you go solo.)
For points 2 and 3, the game will allude to what has happened by pretending someone else did the content instead. So you'll get filled in partially like "oh so, I heard x and x happened and they killed x person" for example.
this should give you an idea of everything you can do solo, just follow the line
... It is like reading comprehension doesn't exist.
I think they changed that. I know a couple of years ago I looked on the wiki for which could be solo'd and it was a short list, but just a couple of months ago with nothing to do after finishing the last mission content I opened up the flashpoint panel and it showed all as being able to be run story mode solo.
You never need to join a guild or run dungeons (Operations). As to the content from your very first beginning mission all the way through the last bit of content released all can be solo'd.
solo hammer station?
solo athiss?
solo cademimu?
list goes on
