Stuck on Hoth with my smuggler

Im winning easy against an opponent but every time (tried at least once with all my companions) just before the op dies he collect you, embrase you and fill his life points by draining me. No button work during this time so I cant protect me. Any hint from someone who passt this fight?

I dont remember any story missions like this, but if it is a story mission that is bugging out you can email support and they can take a look and get you past it if necessary. Final cutscene wouldn't render for my smuggler so support just skipped me past it to the start of the Ilum questline.

The only mission I could think of that would be at least somewhat similar to what you are describing is the confrontation with Darth Arho in the Republic storyline on Ilum. That fight does have a scripted event where Arho Force chokes you to drain your life to almost zero, but then Jedi Consulars appear to safe you before Arho explodes them.

You can't do anything during that time because it is scripted, but you can't die either, because you both just end up with full health again for the final fight.

Well, in my experience, all the time I got life back but eventually I lose. Getting two choices. Med in place or x meter away at med center.

If you can't manage to defeat Darth Arho, you are either underleveled or undergeared, because outside of the scripted event it is a pretty easy fight. Make sure that you have gear that is up to date. If it isn't, go to the supplies section on the fleet and buy mods to put into your gear at character level.

Hmm, well I do have lvl 50 and cant use more than 42 to I think. Got top notch equipment and it is as you say very easy to beat Darth Arho untill this life force draining. Well thanx for your inputs. I guess I try again or even ask someone to take him on toghether.

Kill adds, dps boss, interrupt as needed. That's pretty much it from what I remember.

I wish more of the solo boss fights were like this. It's nice to have some challenge every once in a while. The Empire side fight is a little tough too, constant adds spawning and all that. Makeb last boss of the story on both sides is also nice.
