Says one time password required but it doesn't work

tried to log in, asks for one time password, waited for email, then entered in the password and it says it can't log in, asks me to double check that I'm on the right Steam Account, which I am. Any solutions?

The one time password is a known issue. It normally takes a couple tries to get it to seed. Their email service doesn't always work for some reason.

If the issue persists after 24 hours, file a help ticket with EA. Account support will not be given on the Steam forums.

First check your SWTOR account webpage and make sure its linked to the correct steam account.

Have you sent pass code multiple times and received multiple emails?
Usually if you send it multiple times the game will get confused as to which code to use.

I would suggest sending one email and wait about 8 - 10 minutes afterwards -a game of solitaire should cover it. Then check your email and input the last email.

Solution is to try again later, I had this exact same problem. Code showed up 5-6 hours later but when I asked for a one time code a few hours down the line, it was instant. Thank god for Google Authenticator, my life is easy on multiple games with two factor.

Just use SWTOR their Two factor app, on top of that you get 100 cartel coins a month for using it. pretty good deal, you get paid for securing your account.

Yeah, use the Security Key. You will never have to deal with those emails again. The last time I had to wait for emails it took two tries to get the email.

Got the same issue. Playing all day yesterday. Just tried to log in and getting the 1 time password msg. Waited 10 mins for the email and code they sent didnt even work.

A friend of mine bought game time, but never got any - so apparently, it went to an account he can't access, because he can't recall the password, display name (which is used to login instead of an email), and that email account is gone, so... it it impossible to solve then?
