Founders Title - How many of you have it?

Hello all you Imperial and Republic friends. As the title suggest's, I was hoping to get an understanding of how many people still actively playing, either free to play or by subscription, who have the Founders title.

In order to have gained the Founders title, you had to have surpassed 30 days of game time and have paid for or redeemed a game time token prior to March 19th 2012. Roughly a few months after the games initial release.

If you would like to respond with your main character with the founder's title and potentially when you first started playing and if you are currently playing now as F2P or actively subbed.

Ill go first.

I am currently actively subbed and my main character is Nichollus, Founder. I started playing this game in January of 2012 and started playing again roughly a month ago after not playing this game since July of 2012.

Since starting up playing this game, I am thoroughly impressed with the amount of content available and would recommend anyone who hasn't played in years to pick it back up and play because there is a lot to do.

I have the title (I also have the Jawa balloon!) but hardly play now as PvP was my fix and they keep making it worse. The last time I logged in was recently and within seconds logged out as I remembered they punish players for leaving Warzones and Arenas forced on you.

I've always believed Arena should be in their own Q with ranked and leave 8v8 alone. Such is life and probably a reason why PvP is on life support

I got mine. i been playing on and off since late beta and the 5 day early access before launch as well as launch. I've been through every major and minor upgrade related to solo storyline over the years.

I played at launch, but I didn't preorder nor was i in the beta. So I never landed the title.

The title was given to people who subbed in the first 3 months of the game after launch.

I am pretty sure the 'Founder' title was a pre-order benefit and was not available after launch.

They gave it to everyone if you paid for a subscription or used a game token for a full 30 days before March 2012.

Technically a founder? Sub ran out 4 days prior to deadline and pay day was a week off 😂

I actually got the Founder title way back when I got a personal invite to the beta from BIOWARE themselves back in December 2011. If the Beta invite wasn't what triggered it...

Then it must have carried over when I subscribed but I didn't think it was till mid 2012 -post March of '12. Any way for years I was in, off sub, F2P back and forth and even years of hiatus.

I am back and currently playing since the last major revamp after linking a decade old plus game to a new Steam account -don't remember if I had another one -my information on such things is very outdated since just recently got back into being online and gaming.

I am playing in F2P mode at the moment and locked at 65 max level -as can be seen. I would be sub but taxes and inflation kind of took my play money till June or July -depending on necessities.

Don't have any of my 2011 characters that get use anymore -very outdated. Bad thing is I did the spring cleaning thing on my account so lost the majority of my characters -when you got 35 level 15s across five servers it can be perplexing which is where and is who. Though here is my current main:

It wasn’t the beta, I was in it as well and didn’t get the title, because I didn’t subscribe right away.

I do have all the SWTOR preorder stuff, but sadly the Founder title wasn’t included, that only got unlocked if you subscribed right away in the first few days post launch.

I probably have it on my original account, but not on the account I actually use.

I had account/login issues. I was pretty pissed off because I'd bought a sub and support wouldn't respond to me to help me get it resolved. So I cancelled after a week of trying and wrote the game off. Some friends convinced me to try it again but...same login issues. I tried a new account and it logged in just fine, so that's the one I've been using ever since. Unfortunately I did this like 2 days after the Founder thing ended lol

I logged into my old account for funsies recently and it actually let me log in. But I have zero interest in starting fresh on a new account so it'll just sit there and collect digital cobwebs forever.

I have Founder. At one point it was neat to show off but now I put about as much value in it as I do my Warlords of Draenor deluxe edition.

Per the SWTOR fandom site:

Founder's Medal is available to all characters of an account that has surpassed the 30 days of included gametime from purchasing Star Wars: The Old Republic and has either been successfully billed at least once for an active subscription or has redeemed a pre-paid game time code. In order to receive this item, the player must complete these requirements by 19 March 2012 at 12:01am EST.

After looking through records. It wasn't subscribing that gave it to me. It looks like it may have been the Time code I got for Christmas that year that I applied. It was just the beta I was in was so close to launch I may have merged the beta and launch in memory so there at least its straightened out now.

Yeah, Time Code must have been it then... I missed that march deadline by just a couple days, back then had to wait til next vacation to have enough time to justify subscribing, so I was SoL.^^
