Can't get past login screen

Game simply freezes at the login screen and won't go further. How do I fix this?

I think it's some kind of bug that freezes up in fuulscreen and they never fixed it for some reason. But I think opening it up in windowed mode fixes it and then switch back to full screen.

Thought I posted this old thread that usually fixes this here for you Op not sure if you deleted it or not
Anyway try the things in this one, if it's gone later then I'll know you don't want help and I wasn't just 5am in the morning half asleep and didn't post it for you, could have sworn I put it here like 7 hours ago, anyway this usually works either one

Ok...I don't know how to get to the "localdata" folder. Tried looking through my D drive (I have two hard drives---an SSD for system and boot, a bigger conventional HD for everything else), but I can't find the folder.

I've torn both of my hard drives completely apart looking for the "localdata" folder. It may have existed once upon a time, but there's not "localdata" folder any more. Just plain doesn't exist.

Guess I'll have to delete. Game's too buggy to play.

And hitting alt + enter to knock it out of full screen and not tabbing out at all doesn't get it to load?

Not sure what I hit, but it started working....
