How is the roleplay scene? Is it active? Which servers have the most role-play? Does PvP RP exist as well in this game?

Roleplaying is mostly on Fleet in the center at the vip area, they dropped the entry bracelet back some time ago from 1.1 mil to just 1 mil to f2p could buy it, other than some furniture and an elevator ride there's really nothing up there, but if you go to the center of Fleet usually you'll see people erping, and that's usually where they are, or they're at the cantina, other than that maybe DK or Coruscant have stuff going on, I usually just ignore gen chat mostly especially in those zones

I can't speak for other servers, but I see plenty of roleplay on Starforge. I haven't involved myself in RP, so I'm not sure that there is PVP RP, but I don't doubt that it also exists.

On the german server, there is a dedicated fan base for roleplaying but they all do it in private in their little bubbles, you have all sorts of roleplay but nothing is happening out in the open anymore. I just assume it would be kinda the same for the other servers.

So just look up on google Swtor roleplay or something, probably there is still lots of activity going on which you just cant see while playing the game cause they mostly play on strongholds.

Roleplay exists on star forge server and darth malgus server, I run a RP guild on Darh malgus server. RP PVP is rare.

Darth Malgus for EU RP, most of it happens on Nar Shaddaa's Promenade from what I've heard.

Roleplay is dead in SWTOR. Due to trolls harassing Roleplayers on Imperial Fleet (Starforge), most of the Roleplay Community has fled towards Final Fantasy XIV. Roleplay on Republic side is dead and has been for a very long time. What remains now are a few handful of ERPers on Fleet. Maybe some Guilds that hold events every few weeks.

You should stay in WoW if you enjoy Roleplay. But you can always upgrade to Final Fantasy XIV if you want to take a step further into developing your character.

I'm not that familiar with the RP scene on SWTOR, but it's my understanding that most RP guilds avoid public RP and instead prefer using SHs for RP. That said, there are some public RP initiatives and I do see some folk roleplaying on Tython now and again.

Yup, upgrade. Because the majority of Roleplayers on SWTOR has moved over to Final Fantasy 14.

Roleplayers treat SWTOR as a chat room rather than an actual MMORPG they enjoy playing. FFXIV has more options available for roleplay so I suppose for them it would be considered an upgrade regardless of the fact it's not a Star Wars game. FFXIV players are also a bit more tolerant to cringe, so roleplayers (especially ERPers) from anywhere fit right in.
