I don't know why you're here trying to shill for your mid MMO. Do you guys need players that badly?
Yeah it probably does, but this is another game that can't be tracked by Steam numbers alone. It has its own launcher and there are still a lot of people that use it. Same thing that happened with FFXIV.
Engaging in a topic isn't being defensive.
ESO's engine is just as outdated as this one is, clown comment.
Because they run on the same hero engine, the one SWTOR uses is mostly completed and EA did the rest of it themselves, i believe ESO had an engine update a few years back as i recall.
However saying the engine on SWTOR is junk is saying the same as the engine on ESO is junk as well. just as much as saying the engine on ESO is good, it means the one on SWTOR is also good.
I'd wager SWTOR has more daily players between steam an its own standalone client. ESO is primarily fully of bots or people AFKing somewhere instead of doing -anything-
regardless if this is a troll post or not -.

eso - if you want fantasy / high fantasy - or other mmo ,.say guild wars
swtor - if you want sci fy - , other mmo with sci fy .. i dont remember currently -
--
point being.. there is like 5 sci fy decent or good mmo .. vs the metric ton of 100 other different fantasy mmo ..
so, matter of taste ..
