There are now 2 utility bars you can kinda customize. Open the interface editor and click on one of the utility bars. Choose from the dropdown menus what you want displayed. Latency is in there somewhere, I just don't remember what it's called. Performance maybe?

It's called Signal.

OP, having any problems? I notice the server lag drops sometimes to 1000 ms or more, occasionally seeming to lose connection altogether (value shoots up to 10000 ms).
Noticed this first after the recent update to 7.3c on Tulak Hord server.

Its the 4 bars on the left bottom in this image. Just hover over it. You may need to go into interface and enable the mini map etc. Easy to do.
