I have infinite black screen on launch

Pretty much what it says on the tin, anybody know why it's doing that? I tried the Client Vr. and Steam. Still nothing. All help is appreciated.

Sounds like something is interfering with the launch (the ARC launcher does it with Star Trek Online at times). Disable anything that has an overlay to see if these are causing issues. Other than that Validate files and it could also be out-of-date drivers for your graphics card, might want to check that as well.

Then it's on to that loverly customer support EA has (being sarcastic).

Girlfriend had the same issue. Try pressing Alt + Enter. Her issue had something to do with Full Screen not working correctly. Hopefully that works!

Go to %localappdata%
Delete the SWTOR and SWTORPerf folders
Verify game files in steam
Try to run the game.

Just FYI, there is a bug in the last patch: Colorblind mode causes Black Screen. Not sure if you were using that, but for anyone else, have to use default colors for now until they fix it.
