Vibrosword Vendor?

Looking to buy a vibrosword for a companion (low level). Republic side. Anyone know any vendors or any such? Satelle Shan server? Something other than that generic blade that looks like a practice lightsaber.

The really nice looking ones are on cartel market or you can buy on GTN from other players, but prices will be really high. There are some that drop randomly in loot and maybe occasionally sold by vendors. Check Tor Fashion to see if you like any there. Most pages will say where to get it. Also, this site is not always up to date. There might be vibroswords in the game not shown on that page. For the ones that say world drop, you can do a search on GTN in case anyone is selling it cheap. Most players just vendor them, so don't expect to find them, but it's worth a shot.

Thank you. No luck so far, but great website idea. Yeah... most people vendor them... so... the GTN is not helpful.

Maybe if I can find a reference page that pointed me to all "weapon vendors". IE: There is a weapon vendor on Dromund Kaas... but that's IMP, and the items bind on purchase... so that's no help to my Republic character.

You're not going to find a vendor that sells cool vibroswords.

You want to check the GTN and the Cartel Market. Doing the story, in particular the expansions drops some cool items. But the very best looking items are from the cartel market. Check the GTN though. That website Thander shared with you has most of them, and it tells you where they come from.

My favorite one is the Force Imbued Sword. But the problem is the holster is very buggy. If you put it on a companion, make sure the companion isnt healing. For some reason healing abilities make the holsters disappear. Its a really annoying bug. All weapons with holsters have numerous bugs.

Interesting. I'm not looking for a drop-dead gorgeous cool bad-azz blade. Just one that doesn't look like a younglings practice lightsaber (IMHO). IE: The vibroswaords on Dromund Kaas are perfect... but unlike nearly every other weapons vendor... bind on pickup.

There's like 5 vibroswords from lvl 1-50 excluding the practice stick.
You have a butcher knife saw.
The blade that looks like a limp bow with an electric string.
An electric baton that looks like Casey Jones would use.
The wrench sword (swear it don't look like a large wrench?)
The triangular "standard" sword.

But it beats lightsabers. Unless you zoom in, they all look the same. Just different colors.
