I heard news this was coming to consoles ?,and that was years ago,release it on consoles already !

They neither have the manpower nor the funding to do a proper console port and probably never will be able to considering its declining life cycle.

They struggle to even add/change content and mechanics without constantly breaking the game in the process thanks to the Frankenstein of an engine that is running this entire thing.

The closest console experience you are gonna get is by playing the game on a Steam Deck, which works surprisingly well.
