Can we turn double XP off?

I've just looked at the patch notes and I see you've doing a double XP event. Does anyone know if we'll be able to disable it as we have in the past?

Even if you guys level too fast in the game, there's level syncs for every planet. You'll never over power a planet you're on for Story purposes.

You can grab the White Acute Module from that Gree vendor on Fleet and it will remove the Double XP bonus. I believe this item is only available during Double XP events. You may be able to get it when there's no Double XP but it won't work until Double XP is active.

yall remember years ago when they did the 8x or 16x exp gains? i dont remember the exact number but it was way higher than 2x lol

got a question, just reinstalled this from steam and everytime i try to log in it fails and says double check the steam account but no password i use for it works. anyone know a fix for this?

Odd, also moved over to a Steam install and didn't have this issue. I just use my normal SWTOR screen name and password.

Personally I'd say the current normal XP is about right for people levelling alts, it's not great for people who want to do all the side and story content though. You spend the entire time at max level the for zones.
