Space Barbie is important in both games, and the detail and models of the STO characters have vastly surpassed SWTOR. I also implement RESHADE and now there is absolutely no comparison. In fact the ships in Star Trek Online with the proper reshade settings I use at max 4k could be mistaken for screenshots from Star Trek Discovery. The STO Devs keep upgrading their graphics engine as well. The future looks awesome over there.

It looks perfectly fine. WoW looks way more outdated even with upgrades and its still the best and most played MMO ever.

Also, this game is still supported.

You realize that FF14 is also F2P until lvl 60 and also includes the first expansion for free?

And looks can be extremely subjective. While FF14 might be very dazzling and straight up better on a technical level, I find that the devs use far too many glaring candy cotton color effects in the world and especially for the abilities. I have to admit though that I never really was into the typical JRPG art style.

I'm playing both and even though FFXIV is one of the best MMO right now, SWtOR is for a totally different crowd. Both are very story heavy but one is high fantasy with some magical-technology ( Magitek ) and the other is full-on Sci-Fi with some "Magic". ( Force )

Star Trek Online was actually a decent comparison but not for the graphics. It's actually a pretty unique game because of the focus on space battles which is rare for a mmo beside EVE but I'm not really into the lore.

It's actually a pretty good time for MMO, lots of decent to great F2P or with good trials MMO with SWtOR, ESO, STO, FFXIV and others depending on your taste.

It's probably a troll but SWtOR graphics are still holding pretty good for a 10 year old game. Sure clothes clip through your head tentacles and buildings might be a bit sharp but the style itself is still pleasing to look at, it's not PS1 style polygons.

I played some other EA games that did that. The clothes clip. Its actually not as rare as people think. Sure its ugly, but i think its also funny as hell to walk up to another player with that happening.
