i keep seeing a lot of youtube videos for the warrior with funny clips but not very many at all for inquisitor?

Recommend SW since you each encounter feels like it has more effects while in SI you have least encounters during the story at least being a SW allows you to choose different.

They seem like the top 2 stories by far.

Bounty Hunter was mediocre, haven't played them but I hear Jedi Knights and Smugglers are also mediocre.

Inquisitors, Consulars, and Troopers all have complete garbage stories.

Consular is by far the worst because the entire plot is that you're the biggest Mary Sue to have ever Mary Sued, you ♥♥♥♥ pure gold and solve every problem with no effort.

Bounty Hunter's sole redeeming quality is how much involvement there is with the Mandalorians in the later expansions; everyone goes into the same story, but the BH variations on it all packs a pretty decent punch.

Knight is REALLY GOOD if what you're looking for is KOTR:3. I wasn't, so it didn't resonate well for me.

I don't think any of the rest of them are objectively bad, they just don't do it for me. ALL of the characters are a Mary Sue / Gary Stu in their stories, including the Imperial Agent and the Sith Warrior -- it's a side effect of being the protagonist in a Star Wars story. It's just with those stories in particular it's easier to overlook. But from the moment you walk into the Academy on SW you're a Chosen One. If we weren't all Sues, we wouldn't have survived Ziost.

I haven't played too far into the Warrior story yet but all I can say is that a Light Side Inquisitor is extremely fun. Just a Light Side Sith in general is awesome to play. It becomes a game of people being confused by how kind you are and then sometimes lashing out anyways. Absolutely recommend. The regret you sometimes feel when a Jedi forces you to kill them is great.

same could be said for a dark side jedi knight. A lot of confusion and sick thrills one can get out those perverse situations. delightful to play.

I agree with story for BH, Smug, Inq and Trooper being mediocre or "garbage" as you say. But personally i like how some dialogue or companions offset the suckiness of the story. BH has a Jawa, Smug has the Wookie and crazy Guss Tuno. Inq is fun imo if you play with sarcastic dialogue options but there's nothing special about the companions and i like Trooper with the assault cannon (not blaster rifle though) and companions are only ok with a big battle droid and Brit waifu. Jedi Knight is boring and predictable, Consular is a snoozefest and they dont even have any worthwhile companions. Sith Warrior is ok but after a while of playing the story you're always wondering when the next plot twist hits "ohh jee i wonder who's gonna backstab/betray me this time".

Consular is always going to be the worst of the lot which is a shame because it wastes the voice work talent of Athena Karkanis as the female JC and Nolan North as the male JC, BH and Troopers are generic and not all that interesting, the Smuggler is just above them but still as dull as dirty waste water from a dishwasher, although i like the voice work of Maury Sterling as the male Sm and Kath Soucie as the female Sm.

The Jedi Knight and Imperial Agent are next up, they are pretty good to play and have their own strengths, David Hayter is a very strong voice over for the male JK character and the imperial agent has many endings to chapter 1 and 3.

But i always considered the Sith Warrior to top the lot, it has the best storyline, the most dark humour, Mark Bazeley as the male SW and of course Darth Baras. Sith Inquisitor is a strong second, Euan Morton as the male SI and Xanthe Elbrick as the female SI are a formidable voice over line up, the storyline is good and has its moments with dark humour.

if you want to be the most powerful sith both powerbase and raw forcepower.
underdog story, climb up the rank while being hunted by fellow sith order, and your master is trying to kill you as well and sacrifice your body... you killed more darth and jedi master than the warrior( warrior wish they are inquisitor)

- awesome voice actor (match the sith theme both male and female)
- you can absorb spirit just like the emperor and become OP and live forever
- you command the sith mystical and science spear, so you got access to magic and weird science.
- you command your own ARMADA the silencer division, armed with super weapon.
- you are a member of the dark council
- you have a two apprentices, a jedi and a sith
- you can FORCE LIGHTNING anyone who doesnt like you (you can force-choke people too)

Warrior (storyline theme: vengeance and slave (What is thy bidding, my master?)

if you want to be a typical warrior brute, simple storyline, you kill people because the master told you so... you got betrayed... very common occurrence among the sith what do you expect, you meet the emperor voice(fake/clone emperor) you become a DOG, who kill stuff because your master order you to do so...

- i cant feel the sith with the voice actor(specially the female)
- no you got no powerbase, you are a lonely sith, at least you got vette and you can shock her if you get bored.
- no you dont belong to any order/dark council, because you are a slave to the emperors will.
- no you dont have an ARMY or a Fleet
- you killed less darth and jedi master than the inquisitor, because you're already establish as a strong sith, you are always on a mission for your master darth donut.
- you have an apprentice, a jedi (you can convert her to the darkside)
- no you CANT USE FORCE LIGHTNING because your force power is not on par with the inquisitor, you can only force choke people to submission.

Au contraire, SW killed more darths and masters than SI (unless you went pacifist in all determinant encounters, but that's on you in that case). Plus, SW can do it even cooler, like make their future apprentice kill her own master after beating them into submission (going easy on Jaesa, obviously) without breaking a sweat (my hands down favourite) or make pacifist jedi master kill a darth (which greatly disturbs him). And other "points" against SW are hella biased bull.
