Validate email
How the fuc#@€ing hell can I validate my email? I got a lvl 20 character and I can't play anymore because they NEVER send me the email for validate, I tried all the forms to contact them but it's just impossible, someone have any solution or am I uninstalling this?

maybe you are using some weird email provider? some emails put validation in spam or just blocks them.

Every so often to ensure that the account and email are both still in use and active they randomly send out validation e-mails for security purposes. It should be fairly obvious that it protects not only EA/Bioware from abuse and liability but yourself from any random person from accessing the account you created and the characters you have invested so much of your time into playing and leveling then simply deleting or transferring all the gear somewhere else (or, much worse simply selling off for in-game credits). Also, it is mentioned in the TOS you confirmed and agreed to when you signed up.

If you have lost access to the e-mail you used when you signed up then you would have to go about contacting that service's tech support first to reset your access then checking all the folders to see where your validation e-mail was sent to. It also depends on their server time and delay but typically it can take anywhere from a few minutes to a day for the validation e-mail to arrive but it had never failed to arrive in my experience.

When that pops up when you hit level 20 on a character, use @googlemail.com
Do not use @gmail.com
I don't know why, this problem has been round for more then 7 years.
But it worked for me when I used @googlemail.com

I had this problem that I've been trying to resolve since yesterday since I reached level 17 and started getting the message that I will need to verify my email to play once I reach 20. I've tried resending for a link over and over. I've even googled to search the correct link to the verify email page on swtor's website. The way I fixed it without having to call customer service since it's a Saturday/Sunday situation? I changed my email address to the account and BOOM it's working and I'm no longer being bothered by the message. :steamhappy: I also use gmail.
