Difference between Mastery and Power
Do the stats both stack with each other or are they separate?

Their effect stack. Mastery increase both damage/healing and crit, while power increase only damage/healing. Despite the difference, they are roughly equal in term of point effectiveness, and are both capped by level sync so you should prioritise accuracy, critical, and alacrity over mastery, power, and endurance.

There are a few hard break points:

Accuracy is 1591 ( 110% )
Alacrity is/are 1213 ( 1.4 sec GCD )
3208 ( i.3 sec GCD )
Everything else goes into crit.

Less than 1591 (110%) accuracy and your attacks have a chance of missing and dealing 0 damage. More than 1591 and there is 0 benefit.

Alacrity under 1213 you are still at a 1.5 second global cooldown.
From 1214 - 3207 you have a 1.4 second global cooldown. So more thatn 1213 is bad UNLESS you get over 3208 where you can get a 1.3 second global cooldown. There are no fractional parts.

Any good guides for gearing a Jedi Knight: Sentinel? How do you get your Accuracy/Alacrity/Crit so high?

I'm a Powertech should I focus on any certain stats? and what do you mean by level sync?
All DPS should:

1. 110% accuracy.
2. at least 1314 Alacrity.
3. Rest into crit.

Armor should always be the 471 mastery (the highest amount)
Mods should always have 313 endurance ( the lowest amount)
Enhancements should (generally) always have at least 431 accuracy/alacrity/crit

Sha'tek accessories only

And none of that matters in the slightest until you are in all 306 GS gear.

The official forums have guides.

Rated 295 and soloing most, if not all 2+ Flashpoints/Heroics, but then again I never PvP... (I.e. Sith Inquisitor. -Running a Jedi Sage is a totally different story, regarding soloing.)
My main get all the sweet stuff, and all the modules I swap out, I direct to my favorite alt(s).
It cost a few credits to swap things out, but its timesaving aka. worth it.

Also remember to make use of 'Amplifier'. It help A LOT having useful 'perks' there.

(Edited 195 to 295... ...I am good, but not THAT good!)

A bit extra explanation on accuracy, not because chance of missing but normally bosses in pve had 10% defense rating and with extra 10% you're basically bypass boss chance to parry, block, etc

Mod should be letterless because it's the best. Amplifier is great but watch your credit and for f2p it's impossible to get 286 rating amplifier so stick to things you can buy

Oh and don't worry about gear stat when you're playing the story. Whole things is for endgame content and onslaught expansion
