Oh nice. I'm not familiar with most end-game / purchasable content yet, how expensive are the valor boosts?

Even with the double XP, even with the valor boost... It's still a grind.
Valor level 50 requires 262.650 cumulative valor points.
Valor level 90 requires 3.504.035 cumulative valor points, which is 3.241.385 or about 1200% higher than from 1 to 50.
Valor level 100 requires 6.037.635 cumulative valor points, which is 2.533.600 points more than from 1 to 90. So the last 10 levels take about 75% of the time required for the first 90 levels.

Still a grind :D

200% Valor boost for a month is a chance not to miss tho, for any grinders. (It's free)(21 days left)

While cartel market cost 40 per 3 hours(25% boost), it's way too costly if you grind all day, every day.

Any achievement PvP-related is usually a grind, that's no surprise to me, and I'm okay with that. But I read a chart from years ago that detailed it out, it said it would be like 400+ hours of grinding just to reach that one... that's a bit excessive in my book lol.

400+ hours sounds accurate. It's probably the hardest/grindiest achievement in swtor, one tough nut to crack

In this case, I would suggest the following homemade remedy;
-Wake up 5.a.m
-Swallow half a dozen raw eggs.
-Get that "eye of the tiger" song going. (On repeat)
-Log-in to swtor, beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of people. Until you can't stand the music anymore or your wrist is about to snap.
-Just before you go to sleep, repeat, "I stopped thinking the way other people think a long time ago. You gotta think like you think.!"
Rinse and repeat(x21 days left)
