Buying Sub and Cartel Coins

I have 50$ in my steam wallet and wanna buy a Sub and Coins but have been reading its buggy and I should use the SWTOR website instead of steam is this true?

No matter what it will be safer subbing through swtor. That being said I'm lazy, and as a new player I subscribed through steam last week without difficulties. That being said I wasn't given a code or anything to insert I just launched the game and it was applied.(Don't know if it would make a difference but I had played a little launching from steam before subbing.)

Make sure that your Steam is linked with your SWTOR account you can check this by login in SWTOR website then my account and Steam unlink there should be your Steam account on list

I agree with you, but other than reporting the posts and ignoring them (since it is against the rules), there is little we can do.
Reporting sometimes takes like 8 hours before something happens though, I suppose moderating this forum is harder than I imagine.

Not buggy at all for me. Bought the gametime card (2 months) and kartell coins just fine. Dunno what those people talk about honestly... if at all its more of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ campaign than actual warnings... prove me wrong on that. You want to make EA look worse than people already do. One of, if not THE best tripple A producer from the west btw. Rivaled only by Japanese giants like Square Enix etc. People complain about commercials, did they ever WATCH real sport show's on TV? THEY ARE FULL OF EM! EA is doing nothing new with that.

And Loot boxes? Hell, people can avoid buying them COMPLETLY. I played Battlefront 1 and 2 WITHOUT paying a cent after buying the game... got everything i ever wanted ingame. Battlefields the same. Fifa i dunno, yet 99.9% of the game are already usable without paying more. Paradox is the only company where you actualy NEED to buy every DLC for their games, otherwise you lack contend, QOL updates etc.

Hell i would wish they never had gone to Steam, althou Steam is the best, hope Epic gets shut down soon btw. (and thats my oppinion). Origin, or even without Origin from the Bioware site of SWTOR was enogh. Shop was ingame OR on their site, it was enogh. Oh and they should have never gone F2P at all.. some games deserve to be P2P. One is FF XIV, keeps the noobs and idiots out of the game actualy. Nothings worse than DD's rushing in without brain when the TANK, who did the last 20 years nothing else than to tank, and thus LEAD PARTIES, is going elsewhere because STORY AND LOOT.

Enogh of that, i needed to vent STEAM here.

Other than that, i still belive its only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and hatred about EA from those childs without a clue that EA still is one of, if not the best western developer out there. NO ONE has a series as long running as FIFA, no one DARED to actualy CHANGE a game more than the BF series did. No BF is the same realy, even BF 1942 and BF2 are worlds appart already.

On short note : it works as intended. Shure you need to install it via steam and log in once, but thats just common sense, so the account's get linked together and steam know's where to send your stuff to. And dont give me the "it needs to be written down anywhere for people to understand/notice" NO IT DONT! If the OLD GUARD of GAMERS can do it with their brains on, then the new CASUAL'S can do too!

I have purchased both game play and cartel coins through steam. I have had no issues at this point and feel it is good to do without hesitation.

I really want to use Steam but since the changeover I can't buy the 10500 cartel coin packs anymore because Steam does not have the option nor does the website. I used to buy it trough the direct buy option trough the game client but since that now points me to the Steam Site it's not an option anymore.

this is exactly my point of view as well. When I buy them, I buy the "big package" but other than ingame there isn't an option.

Yeah and since my account is now linked with Steam it won't give me the option anymore unless I unlink first. Too much of a hassle. Tried to buy it from Amazon but it seems to be US only and I am EU.

I know about the site but the site does not offer the big value option. That was only available for ingame purchases which is now linked to Steam. And Steam does not offer bigger value options.

And I can add the Amazon bundle to my Amazon cart but the moment I checkout it is removed. So yeah most likely regionlocked. I'm from the Netherlands and used to buy from Amazon but it also does not work anymore for my region.
