Hello, So I bought subscription so that I can go on the expansion quests. But before starting fallen empire I got a warning, that I will mis out on companion quests I havent done yet.
So question is how do I know If I've gotten alll the companion story quests finished?

Basically, the companion story questlines are gated on 2 attributes:
- your class storyline
- your influence level with that companion

So if you finished your class storyline (past Corellia) and have all companions at influence level 10 or higher, and no one wants to speak with you on your ship, you have done them all.

If you open your legacy window, one of the unlock pages will list all classes and their companions. If you have completed the companion's story, he/she/it will be unlocked.

Well I've finished the class story so If I grind them up to influence 10 I will have them done?

You will then know if the companion "quests" (bar the first companion, most are conversation only) are done by checking in on them on your ship, yes.

Just buy some high level companion gifts, influence level 10 is quite fast, not a grind. You can also do the already existing conversation requests with them if available, they also result in influence (increasing their level).

I also recommend level 10 influence because it can make a later part with your companions much faster (depending on the companion). Can't go into detail, it would be spoiler. You will see when you start Fallen Empire.

Influence doesn't matter anymore for their stories as far as I know. I've got all the talks with Skadge on my powertech and he ended up with level 5 of influence. Didn't bother with getting to 10 since I intended to get rid of him anyway.

Double checked it, you're right. Influence level doesn't matter anymore.
So basically finishing chapter 3 is enough. No grinding inflience levels for anything other than combat and crew skill effectiveness then!
