To go farther then that you need to edit your INI files. should be located in your appdata

AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings

Open with a text editor (Notepad by default) this file: YourAccountName_Account.ini, where “YourAccountName” is the name of your SWTOR account.

Inside the file look for a line with the following text: “Controls_CameraMaxDistance = 25.0”.

Hello :)
I changed the document for the camera distance to 100.
It works for my characters but not for my main character who stays at 25.0 distance. My main character does not have the maximum distance applied by modifying the .ini file
Can you help me? Why doesn't this impact all my characters?

Did you modify a individual file for that user?

Find the INI for that user, and if there is you can try to update the camera setting there.

I made the same change, but I also cannot zoom out. It stays at .25 instead of 100. And I know I changed the right one.

Did you do it in the .ini file or one for just a single character? I had completely forgot about this thread, a worthy necro for once
