Are there servers in this game? Anyone playing from South East Asia. Do servers have different pings? Which server is best to play in?

Most old APAC players are on Satale Shan, but timezone varies. My ping from Hong Kong is 209ms and up. Star Forge is also on East Coast and should give you same ping. The rest are on Europe and even slower.

Indonesian here, Satele Shan. Usually at 200-350ms, it looks high but really not noticeable.

Star forge also have same ping, idk about the european one.

Playing on star forge, 200+ average ping, which is still playable in PVE. There are times that the ping goes up to 300. If you're not planning to play PvP I think its playable.

Well, many bosses are pretty painful at 200ms already. The tank in the New Toy heroics in the current pirate event for example, the circle is so big and fast that I need to be constantly on the move to dodge it. If I move when I see it, the roundtrip delay means I'd be half dead (or worse) everytime. Now try bosses that immobilize you, and that means free teleportation for every circle.

The West Coast server was much more bearable for me, when I could really react to circles and no need to be constantly on the move.

And the devs moved it to Esst Coast without telling anyone in advance, then admit that they knew it would impact "some" players' ping. Many APAC players came to the conclusions that we were disposable and they just wanted to milk one more month of sub, the last one.

I play in Star Forge and I get an average of 230ms. It's fine when you're just doing solo quests, barely noticable.

I'm playing from Thailand on Star forge server with ping around ~350ms.

it's quite laggy. (Enemies won't visibly appear where they suppose to be. Sometimes I have to hit skill button a couple of time before it can be executed. Something like that.) But I am playing mostly solo contents so it's not that bad. Better than ESO for sure.
