You can hit the level cap and see all the main story content without needing other players help.
I see, thx. Its longer than I expected
I've heard a lot of positive things about the game and I'm excited :)
It's a really good game but you have to keep in mind it's 9 years old and has pretty much the same hardware as then but totally playable and enjoyable, personally I'd love to see an upgrade to 64 bit from 32 bit but that's just me but welcome aboard
- I am almost exclusively a solo player, I've never done any of the Flashpoints, Operations or PVP. Not once have I felt like I HAD to play with other players. To me, it feels more like I have the OPTION to play with other players but can play solo. That being said, I have run a few quests in a group and one really cool thing is how the entire group is able to have input during dialogue. In other words, the group leader isn't the only one speaking during the dialogue. The group leader still makes the important decisions but the rest of the group can choose dialogue options throughout many conversations.
- The game can be difficult if you're trying to rush through it. Also, because worlds are level gated like most MMOs, you may feel frustrated if you want to go to a specific world but can't because you're too low of a level. That's one of the very few complaints I have about the game, honestly, but it's not a huge deal. Progression is a bit easier nowadays than it was when I first started playing. Just do all the quests you can, use any XP boosters you might receive, take full advantage of double XP events and you'll be all good. Once you get to the higher levels, you can REALLY explore and just feel free to journey out into the galaxy.
- My first class was the Jedi Knight, but from what I've heard, there isn't any class that is harder than the others to use. There are a couple that are a bit easier, for sure (Jedi Consular is great for taking down mobs from a distance), but nothing that's too difficult.
- I highly recommend getting some sort of starter pack on the Cartel Market. While it's not a requirement, doing so will not only get you some good starter stuff but it will also permanently mark your account as "Preferred" status, meaning you get more privileges than the standard F2P player. The account tiers go like this: free > preferred > subscriber. I've never subbed to the game (haven't felt like I needed to but I plan to in the near future) but preferred status is a literal game changer. It lifts several restrictions that are frustrating to deal with in the free game. If you want to get all of the expansions, though, you'll need to subscribe at least once and they're permanently unlocked for you. I was lucky and got all of them except Onslaught through various giveaways.
- Pick a high-population server, at least for your first character, as that means you'll be able to find help easier if you need it at any point. Furthermore, don't rush into joining a guild but don't be afraid to join one if you find one that fits your playstyle. As with most MMOs, having a good guild can make or break the social side of the game if you plan to play much with other players.
Anyways, welcome to SWTOR! It really is the best game for totally immersing yourself in the galaxy far, far away!
EDIT: I forgot to add that if you need help with the game, my recommendation is Swtorista on Youtube. She's a channel solely dedicated to SWTOR and makes a lot of great guides and info videos.
There is one thing you should know though, to unlock all expansions from Knights of the fallen empire up to the newest expansion called Onslaught you need to be sub at least for a month what gives you preffered status AND all expansions permamently even after sub expires. ( 1st two expansions "Rise of the Hutt Cartel" and "Shadows Of Revan" are free. )
Still...amount of Free2play story is way more than enough to get you a big chunk of playtime.
you can see the game has a good community
thank you all again :)

if I am a little further with leveling then get me a subscriber :))
