Swtor able to change my character to a different server?
So, after the incredibly long download time of the game i rushed to create my first character (on a europe server but the language was french) i only realised this after going to voss. Is there a way to change the server my character is saved on?

You can do this with a Character Transfer, but it costs 1000 Cartel Coins ($10). Read this page for more info: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-character-transfers/

Otherwise, you can recreate the character on the server you want to play and level up again. It's double xp now, so it should be pretty fast.

if i remember correctly you can migrate characters to different servers on the official SWTOR website. Its under "My SWTOR" -> "Account" -> "Character Transfer" , or something like that.

Though there is still a 4 char limit per server?

Yes, f2p has a limit of 4 characters per server. Though buying 1000 cartel coins probably makes you preferred immediately. If you have the 1000 cartel coins already (100 free per month for security key app), you may either be blocked during the character transfer due to the amount of characters already or you have to pick which ones to activate (the EA support site for character transfer doesn't say much about this situation).

Subscribing a month give you 500 points, plus unlock all current expansions permantely. Using a preferred friends bundle when you are a sub will then give you a free character transfer, and players are willing to pay you 18-22 mil in-game if that is the first time you use a ref link.

So, please do sub first, and sell your link usage (both party wins), before considering cc.

To be honest, if you are only at voss, it may be better to just create a new toon and new legacy. The time you spent on learning the game is not wasted - you'll cut through old content at a light speed that makes you wonder why it took you so long before. Using Quick Travel to hand in your missions instead of walking all the way back for example.

i thought i was the only one to take a few hours to realize how fast travel worked. i think i was mid chapter 2 when i figured it out. that and doing planetary quests alongside the class ones, instead of doing all the planetary ones first and then the class quests. it took me 50 hours to beat my inquisitor, i'm thinking it's going to be way quicker with my trooper
